Lesley Massey has applied her passion as a Graphic Designer in the community for 15 years. Her experience began while working in local print shops and marketing companies where she was hands-on and eyes-wide-open, loving every area of production. She has been delighted to create products for non-profit and for-profit organizations such as UConn UCEDD A.J. Pappanikou Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, Brain Injury Alliance of CT, CT Arc, CTBLN, Empower Sports, NetMark Associates, Northeast Produce, CT Al-Anon, Monarch Medical Supplies, Beekley Corporation, MADD, and Logee’s Plants for Home and Garden…to name a few.
But where did the name Sugarplums come from? Well, Sugarplums is a nick name given to Lesley by her son Braedon when he was a mere 3 years old! The name sparked a familiar reminder of a well known story relating utter excitement to a special sweet treat. The most breathtaking life moments are something to indulge in! So, in 2009, Lesley broadened her services in the area of custom social stationery and graphic design services for weddings and all occasions. As she branched out, her passion-turned-success, burst into life mirroring her drive to be a part of the community and designing for everyone from individuals to large companies.
Communication and relationship building are very important to Lesley. One-on-one personal attention allows for both parties to expand their vision, push the envelope and set a unique project into motion. In order for a business to grow or a message to be announced, there needs to be an understanding of the direction in which it is aiming and that is achieved through communication, collaboration and consistent branding.
Whether you're planning a wedding or anniversary, birthday, bar/bat mitzvah, or have a need for business promotional materials, event essentials or for design support within your company’s creative department, she’s available to help!
